Winchester Super Short Magnums: WSSM Rifles

As with all sports, success is defined by a careful combination of superior skill and effective equipment. In this regard, hunting is no different. A hunter must have the skill, experience, and instinct to track and set up a kill, but with faulty equipment even the best of natural hunters can find themselves stymied.
Knowing this, the top-notch weapons manufacturers such as Browning Rifles and Winchester Ammunition have introduced a bold new concept: Winchester Super Short Magnums, or, as they are more commonly known, WSSM rifles. In theory, WSSM rifles work entirely the same as any A-Bolt rifles, except that a smaller cartridge size and concentrated powder location allow the round to do the same work as a larger cartridge in almost half the space.
As any firearms enthusiast can easily attest, there is a very simple reason why the smaller size of WSSM rifles and the accompanying smaller Winchester ammunition would be a great benefit. Any sportsman that has had to lug heavy A-Bolt rifles around the woods for an entire day should not need to be convinced that a smaller, lighter rifle is a wonderful innovation. However, the ease of carry is far from the only reason why these WSSM rifles mark an exciting advance in hunting technology.
It's common knowledge among projectile experts that a shorter and more direct firing action will always be more accurate than a longer one, and the Super Short action of a bullet fired from WSSM rifles is over two action sizes shorter than comparable, full-sized rifles. However, the smaller size of the shell produces a uniform load density, and the powder burns more consistently, meaning that the action is more direct and powerful than in a standard rifle. Furthermore, because of this direct, shorter action, there is both less recoil for the shooter and less delay time between actions, meaning that the shooter can fit more shots into a potential opportunity.
So why invest in WSSM rifles? The answer seems clear. Owning WSSM rifles with Winchester ammuntion can greatly improve the hunting experience of anyone. For the amateur or casual hunter, WSSM rifles means a much more fun and easy hunting experience without the weight and burden of larger rifles and ammunition. For the perfectionist, WSSM rifles can bring improved accuracy and reset times, giving a much better chance to bag the perfect catch, or at least greatly reduce equipment-related frustration and hassle. The reduction in recoil should seem like a blessing for every hunter that has even woken up the morning after a hunt with swollen shoulders and sore arms.
Winchester has created a technology in WSSM rifles that should eventually become the industry standard, offering great benefits in every conceivable arena with little to no adverse effects. Everyone thinking about purchasing a new rifle should be thinking long and hard about these exciting WSSM rifles.
